Uncorrected errors in judicial records made him subject to the three strikes guidelines. He is serving a sentence of life without parole.

Ramiro R. Muñiz has suffered greatly a total for 18 years in maximum security penitentiaries. A successful attorney with an uncompromising love for people did not deserve to be sent where he would spend years of his life in solitary confinement. He was unable to visit with his family or consult with attorneys so that he could prove his innocence.

Today Ramiro R. Muñiz  is a 65-year-old man. He is a peaceful and loving man who has never demonstrated violence. His conduct continues to be a positive example to all.

There is a need for everyone to become involved in this issue and come to the aid of a man who spent many years of his life assisting others in need.

Many have provided humanitarian support for Ramsey Muñiz.
